I have a 2000 39' Bounder DP.
Last year I had no problems with the cooling.
This year I turned the airconditoner on and the fan came on as usual, but when it called for cooling it went to SHED.
I tried the other conditioner and it did the same thing.
Nothing I did, including turning off anything that would call for power worked.
From what I know, if the SHED comes on it's saying that I do not have enough power to run.
This is happening weather it's on the generator or shore power.
Any advise would be appreciated.
Stan

I would start by looking at the input voltage to the ac distribution panel. You may find loose or even burnt wiring from loose connections that will greatly reduce the voltage to the air cond. unit causing them to draw high amperage. Next I would look at the air conditioners start and run circuitry. You may have some issue there but for both to fail at the same time is rare. Let us know waht you find out.

Also check to make sure none of the breakers have tripped. Don't just look at them try and reset.

Thanks for your imput..
One of the first things I tried.....
Wouldn't do me any good to check that first.
It would have been too easy.. LOL
Nothing that easy happens here.. LOL
We left Port Richey two weeks ago..
We stop there to visit friends twice a year on our way to Az. and then on our way back.
Thanks again,
Stan

A fellow RV'r next to me in Las Vegas, NM had this problem. As I recall, there was a transfer switch/component in the AC circuits that was the problem. Sorry, I can't be more specific.

Dale & Betty,
Thank you for your information.
Monday I'll call Fleetwood and try to find out if and where this switch might be.
They have been very helpful in the past.
I have tried all switches that I can find.
Nothing comes easy... LOL

Thank you for your imput.
Fleetwood did conferm that there is a Transfer Switch that could be the problem.
I followed their instructions to determine if the switch was working and found that the switch is not working.
They sugest that I have a qualified tech replace the switch as it's behind the control panel. I would have to purchase it through a Fleetwood dealer.
Once again Thanks
Stan

Just got the the air conditioners repaired. It turns out to be nothing more than a bad connection in the ceiling...
Thanks for your imput.

Stan, glad to hear that you have gotten the air conditioner issue resolved and that it was not more serious. Take care and have a great summer.
