air conditior service

hi have question my air conditior on top of my greyhawk class c rv
what maintance can i perform on the conditior is there filers in it that need to be changed ofen ? is there any item that i can do on it ?
needs to be looked at to keep it running smoothly

You need to clean the air filter about every 2 weeks of operaiton. If you keep the filter clean, you should make 2 or 3 years before you ahve to clean the evaporator coil. Every year take off the inside cover and brush and lint and dirt build up from the unit and evaporator coil. Also remove the outside cover and make sure the condenser coil is clean. Inspect for any mud daubber nest as well.

Are you talking about the roof air of the dashboard air? Two entirely different animals...

On the roof air, the basic maintenance is to clean the foal filter on the air intake regularly. How often that is depends on how dusty the environment is where you camp, but it can build up surprisingly fast.
