air ride system issues - help

NEED HELP OR INSIGHT PLEASE. I have a 1989 Chieftan Winnebago 31 feet with a jet air ride system that is not functioning. I can not get my compressor to run at all. I have the owners manual that has a few pages of trouble shooting/tech support, which I have followed to the best of my knowledge..but have not found or solved the problem. I have bypassed the air pressure switch, installed a new solinoid and still have had no luck. I can jump the solinoid and get the compressor to run, so that leads me to think that my problem is none of the parts mentioned above. Problem may be bad ground or short? If anyone has any ideas, Thank you in Advance. Karl

If all is working above and below your solenoid then you must have a bad solenoid or it could be wired wrong. Are you sure the pressure switch is by-passed? As long as you have 12 volts and you know the pump is working then there is not much left to trouble shoot.
