With only 25,000 on our Alfa Gold it started shifting hard to where the motorhome would shudder. I googled the problem and read about having the electronic management for the Allison reset. So I contacted Allison up in Pacific Wa and took our unit in for them to fix. I should have had them road test the motorhome first, but I did have them change out the transmission fluid and filters. The road test flowing new trans fluid had the same shift problem,,,,,, You have a fuel problem,,,,,,,,the Allison mechanic said,,, Cummins in Renton was busy till mid week so I went to Cummins in Chehallis. They road tested the unit and said I needed to change the fuel filter. They checked the computer and it also showed a fuel problem. A little over an hour we were back on the road. A leason learned,,, carry a spare fuel filter. Jimmie
