Have other Alpine Coaches experienced slide leaks and if so, has a remedy been found?

Hello wandern2 and welcome to IRV2!

I don't have an Alpine coach, but if you can be a little more specific about the problem, there are some really great folks on this site that I'm sure can offer some suggestions that may help you.

Does the slide leak when fully IN or Fully OUT?
Does there seem to be any connection between leaks when it is windy or if parked in such a way that water wells at the seals (not level side to side)?

If the slide is not fully in or out.. there are good possibilities of a leak.

If it leaks when fully in or out.. you may need adjustments to make sure the sensors are not stopping the mechanism before the seals are compressed.

May or may not help.. but these are all possibilities to consider.

Hello wandern2: I have a 2004 40' fdts and just solved a leak on the main slide. The water was coming in from the rear corner over the sink (almost) when the slide was open. The culprit was a bead of silicone on top of the slide, about in the middle, running under the seal. It was a long reach but with the silicone sanded flat I have no more leak. You will need a tall ladder good flashlight and sharp eyes. Good Luck.

I have had a problem when bringing the slide in.
Advise droping the slide side of the coach a little and let the water run off before bring it in.
