Ok that was the short answer from my phone which I have found to not be a good typing platform for me.

At present my wife is sleeping on the couch next to her mothers hospital bed. I do go over on Tuesdays and stay with her mom while my wife goes to scouts with our grandson. I also go over most evenings to help with what I can and eat with the family.

I am working about 60 hours a week and then coming home to do all the housework, yard, cleaning bathrooms, laundry, and picking up after her 21 year old. Please don't ask me about that I would like to keep this civil. I am actually a little worried that the dog and cat will be cared for for the short 4 nights I will be away.

If I were there I would probably just be in the way and my back isn't going to let me sleep on the couch for very many nights before I am unable to move.

Just be sure that we considered it and it was not feasible.

We have a similar 18-year-old. We get the picture . . .

Update:

Coach is ready, had someone wax and buff it out for the first time yesterday so it is all protected and has a nice and shine. Bought the vittles last night and will stock it over the next couple nights. First of the week is hectic as I watch my MIL on Tuesday evenings to give my wife a break and we bowl on Wednesdays. Will drive it to work on Thursday and cut out around 1400. Have an overnight stay in Beckley, WV both directions.

Transferred my route plan from RVParky to my Garmin RV760 so all ready to go.

Left work around 1430 last Thursday. Drove to a camp ground near Beckley WV at 2800' Alt. This one was a bit worn but had a good nights sleep. On the road by 9 the next day and in to Suffolk VA around 1630. Great camp site and resort. My son had to show of his new 46o cal pistol so we went shooting then met his girlfriends parents for dinner with coffee and desert later at their house. Great couple this one might be a keeper.

Rain set in about 0400 Sat morning and sat in till about 1000 Monday morning. I ended up staying an extra day for two reasons, first I wanted to go to church with my son and the timing wouldn't have worked if I had to ditch the RV somewhere, second because I could feel I was coming down with something by mid day Saturday.

Sore throat and fever most of Sunday and during the drive Monday, it hung on through the night Monday night and the drive home from Huntington was an adventure. I was completely out of if and could only muster about 90 minutes of driving at any one stretch. I think I slept at every rest area between Huntington and Dayton.

I am still hurting and picked up some Vicks green moonshine to let me sleep and we will see if work is gonna happen or not in the morning.

Had a blast with my son and his GF. The coach performed flawlessly but I need to reinforce my electronics tray I put on the dash. The roads are so rough anymore and I-295 is horrendous.
