America's Largest RV Show

Really. It was on the Internet so it must be true ... Right?

The link is PRVCA Home. Makes me wonder but I am going to be an hour away in Gettysburg.

Anyone ever been to one of these? Worth the hours drive and $8 price of admission?

Thanks,
Norm

The Hershey RV show may or may not be the BIGGEST, but it certainly ranks right up there. Just about every brand RV will be on display. I can guarantee that you will have very tired legs/feet after trekking around for the day. If you want to see in detail all the motorhomes or all the trailers, you will need two days. If just browsing, one long day will do it. Also, don't forget to check the seminar schedule. There are lots of very interesting topics being presented.

We went four years ago and really were not impressed; the vendor area was pathetic though it-the show- was very well organized, shuttle service from the camping area was fantastic-listening to the people check/prep the roller coaster very early in the am was not so great.
Hershey Park, no thanks.

We did go to Gettysburg for the first time and for that experience alone we were glad we drove to the show, the losses during the battle were staggering-incomprehensible for us, nearly fifty thousand casualties in three days ???-it was a powerful experience.

If you have not been there I say go, but also drive a bit more and go to the battlefield....

It was the biggest show when it was at Harrisburg but not as many vendors as there used to be. Lots of rigs though. We will be there.

Thanks all. Will see how the week holds out at Gettysburg. If we run out of things to do will head up.

If you have not been to a large rv show in the past, you will certainly enjoy "America's Largest RV Show".

However, a much larger show is the Florida RV Supershow held in Tampa. So if you find yourself in Florida in January, you might want to consider attending.

Last year the show was pathetic
The dealers bought used coaches from their lot
Some of them were new (and unsold) as old as 2006

Maybe better this year

The Hershey show is large, but Tampa is much, much larger.

Great show this year. Spent 8 1/2 hours there today and didn't even see all the class A's Lots of vendors both inside and out. Bought a Wi-Fire there today and am getting signals here at the campground that unable to get last night. Prices are really down on the coaches and lots of people were buying today. I would love to go back tomorrow but DH is "walked out"

I too attended the show this year. Got there at the opening and closed the place at 8PM. Exhausting, informative, amazing and wished we could spend a second day. Also attended some of the seminars. They were very good and informative. I've been to this show many times, and this year's was the best. You MUST go next year!
