Anchoring appliances to countertop
We are newbies. So far just a maiden voyage from Utah back to Central California via Phoenix (Good Sam Rally). 9 successful days, 6 of which were consecutive dry camping, so we have that mastered. However, we expect to be full timers by July, and we are currently loading up our necessities that are not needed in our bricks and mortar home.
My question is regarding anchoring toaster, and other items to the counter top. At the GS Rally I learned about some sticky stuff that works for this, but now I can't remember the name of it. I already have some high temp Velcro for pictures, but I would rather use the sticky stuff for the things that stay on the counter top.

You could try "Earthquake Putty or Gel". I have some on order from Amazon.

Same thing. I am currently using LocTite art stickum strips for the knife block behind the sink and for the wireless printer.

Any hardware store should have a roll of two sided tape. Plenty sticky and won't ruin the counters.

I'm not a big fan of sticking appliances to the counter tops, makes it hard to keep clean to me.
But we all have our ways of doing things, I like the tape idea, I may try that one with the DW's permission.

In the Dutch Star we used the museum putty to stick the stuff down in the display case. The Magna rides much smoother and so far all we've needed is the no skid mats under the coffee maker.

We are also not proponents of keeping things on the counter tops or tables. The toaster goes into a cabinet. Small footprint. The coffee pot goes into one side of the sink and is protected by empty plastic water bottles as cushions.
Keeping the counter tops clear gives us more room for cooking, etc. (We have a small counter top area.)

We have a small toaster oven on the counter. To hold it place I made a couple of spring rods (small PVC pipe, dowel to fit inside, a couple of springs, and rubber end caps). The toaster oven has 2 hooks that the cord would wrap around, I use one rod on each side that straddle the hooks. This anchors the toaster oven, hasn't moved in 6 years. We also use a small bungy across the top to hold the small door closed to hold the small pans inside the oven while traveling.
Next to that we have a coffee pot, it is held in place while traveling with a heavy suction cup.
Next to that in the corner we have a small basket that carries breads, fruit, crackers. I put some small rubber buttons on the bottom and it prevents it from sliding.
All 3 items in place have never moved even in an emergency braking situation.

We are the same, use the stuff and put it away when not in use, keeps things a lot more tidy. When we travel, some of the lamps and things just sit on the couch with the pillows until we get to where we are going, not a big deal. My wife likes counter tops and other things clear of stuff in general, and I do too.

We use the 2 trash bins under the counter top to store the toaster and coffee maker while on the road. If either bin is near full, we empty it before leaving. If there is a small amount in either, we just fold over the top of the trash bag.

Not a big fan of Camping World but they have a roll of rubberized material that you can cut to shape and put under whatever you want to leave on the counter. We leave the Britta water pitcher, the block of knives, and toaster oven sitting on the counter. It is used under the printer and clock radio as well and we have never had anything wind up on the floor.
Museum Jel is used for items in the curio cabinet.
