another Battery problem

Hi everyone! I have an'87 Gulfstream class A. We have been parked for
about 3 Weeks. Am plugged into shore power. I have had no issues with
the batteries. I just replaced the coach battery b4 parking here. I cleaned all of the connections on all batteries. We had a refer installed
the week of the 4th. Went camping at DD's property and no power ran
refer off propane and batts, no issue. came back have set since Monday
and this morning all three were dead.

As I understand the Converter should keep the house batts up while plugged in and the isolator should keep the coach battery from discharging.

Jumped the mh and let run for about an hour. And of course indicator is
showing good again as I probably have only a surface charge.

I disconected the neg cable and tested from positive to ground and no
voltage so I don't think it is a short to ground have checked to see if any
other 12v load is on and have not found any.

The only thing I can think of is I filled the two house batts a couple days
ago and may not have gotten all of the water wiped dry.

Any Ideas would be really great. Thanks BJ

BJ, you will need to put an amp meter on the chassis battery to check for a current draw when the unit is stored. Did you use the battery disconnect? Did all the batteries go down in a week? Let us know what you find.

There are basically 4 reasons a converter will not charge teh house batteires

1: Battery disconnect switch in "OFF" or disconneccted position. Some coaches some stuff is hooked on the battery side of the switch, usually the converter is on the house side.

2: Blown, Reverse Polarity fuses in converter.. This does not, necessarly, mean you put the batteries in backwards, Fuses do wear out

3: Tripped circuit breaker feeding converter

4: dead converter, stick a PD-9260 in it and call it done (or another good 3-stage converter.. I favor PD but hey, that is for personal, not technical, reasons)

Let us know what the issue is
