Another request for HELP!

New to me 2012 Tiffin allegro on F53 chassis. Two days ago a Michelin dealer replace my right front tire from his mobil truck. Rather than spin balance he put I a bag of stuff that was supposed to seek out the place that needed weight. This seems fine. No wobble. However, the first time I went to check air in this tire, air kept flying out of the valve stem after removing my gauge! No stopping it.. I quickly screwed the valve in to make sure it was tight but no good. I have spare valves and quickly replace it before the tire got below 70psi... Whew! I was able to fill the tire and recheck. Next day, same thing happened again. This is scaring the crude outa me..
Does this have anything to do with the bag of stuff? Is it getting in the valve?

Mobile so-called Tech should know better than to put balancing powder into a tyre without fitting the special filter screen into the tyre stem.
Most tyre dealers should have the special valves.

Having the valve at the top when refilling might also help a little bit.

[In the meantime, if you use the quality metal valve caps with sealing gasket, they will hold air even if the valve is missing altogether. Obviously not recommended as a permanent fix, but good in an emergency.]

Also ring the tyre man up and tell him you want him to pay for the cost of getting it all sorted out. Also complain to Michelin HO.

The Equal balance power has a good reputation, but the powder is fine enough to clog the regular valve stem cores when checking air pressure. The dealer should install the special "Air-X" cores with a built in filter. My dealer gave me a few extra to carry if needed.
Long article here, about 2/3 down the page it shows the valve cores and a yellow ring slipped over the valve stem so a tire repairman will know you use "Equal" and require the filtered stems.

The Equal seemed to work well on my 22.5 inch tires, but I had an off and on tire vibration. Not the fault of Equal. The dealer eventually dismounted the tires, removed the equal powder and did a spin balance and eventually found a tire with tread side to side runout that caused the problem. It was replaced under warranty.By that time over half the tires had been spin balanced so he just completed that process.

I think having one tire with Equal and the rest not could be a hassle.....
