Does anyone know of any weigh scales in Elkhart Indiana.Before I spend a lot of cellphone money I thought I would ask here.

There's a Flying -J with a J-Scale at I-94 & I-80 Exit 9A near Gary, IN but that's about 80 miles west of Elkhart. If you're coming that way you might want to check it out.

Check the yellow pages ads for truck stops- many (other than Flying J) have them.

On the 31 bypass around South Bend In there is a large truck stop with scales. You can take
I-80 or Rt-20 to Rt-31 go north toward Michigan, the truck stop is right at the state line between Michigan and Indiana

There is a fuel stop over off the road that Elkhart Memorial HS is on, just off 19. A friend fuels his American Dream there when in town. Might be worth a look.
