Any Suggestions Short Trip

Looking to take a short Class A holiday around the end of May. I have 5 days, live in the Vancouver. BC area and reasonably would be willing to drive 4 to 5 hours max one way (sort of around the 300 mile/500 km mark. Basically can stick within BC or Washington. Can anyone suggest a nice place to hang ones head for a few days. I have a genny problem right now so boondocking won't really work for me. I have a 37 footer.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The last weekend of May isn't a particularly good time, as that's the memorial Day weekend, a 3-day holiday. We like Eastern Washington for the additional warmth at that time of year. Highway 20 has will open by the end of this week after the final plowing.

There's a State Park close by Winthrop (Pearrygin SP) and a couple of private CGs too. At the eastern end of the Methow Valley is Alta Lake SP. A park we really enjoy is a County park near Lake Chelan, called Beebe Bridge County Park. It's on the side of the Columbia River about 5 miles from the town. There are a couple of other SPs along the river headed towards Wenatchee, and one close to downtown Wenatchee (Confluence SP).

Another private park we like is "Blue Shastin". It's about 7 miles south of Peshastin off Highway 97. It's riverfront on one of the smaller tributaries of the Wenatchee River, I think.

How about the Okanagen Valley around Oliver...wine tasting, visit the countryside, and kick back.

Thank you for the suggestions. I finally decided on a Provincial Park, near Merritt in BC. Kentucky-Alleyne
