DH covered ours with pipe insulation. We also use the non-slip hangars - found at Costco, Bed Bath, Tuesday Morning & other places. Haven't had any issue with hangars coming off or clothes coming off the hangars.

I drive a gas coach and have never had that problem.. but then I have a very strong "Bar" (Actually an L shaped piece of flat metal with slots (holes) for the hangers every so far apart)
I do have a cure though.. Or at least I think I do.
Note: Link below not recommended for the younger set...
Years ago this park was more suitable for folks like me, I have not been there since they converted to their current format. But the phone number is only one digit different from my parent's last house.

For some reason we don't have that problem with our current rig, but we did with most of our RVs.
I bought some narrow, maybe 1/4" or less, wooden dowel - placed that over the hangers/rod and fastened with a Velcro wrap tie on each end. No more shirts on the closet floor. While parked the dowel just laid on the closet floor.

No MH owner would put up with a ride rough enough to cause hangers to come off the closet rods.

That's funny I was just complaining to my wife about our closet rods this morning. They are close to the ceiling and you have to force the hanger between the rod and ceiling, I don't think you could knock them off if you tried. Maybe you just need to move the rods up a little.

Pop, you must have been reading my mind. Hang enough clothes and they'll clump together as one mass.

This simple trick really works!!

String.
Tie a piece of string around the 'neck' of all of the hangers on the rod in a big loop and draw it snug. They won't all jump as a single group, they weigh too much.

We had this problem of hangers jumping off the closet rod. CW sells a hanger the has a more closed hook that slips around the rod. These hangers solved this issue for us.

Same problem for the closet in bedroom on side back corner. No problem with the middle closet so tend to agree with GaryRomer's comment. Will try some of the suggestions here thanks

I think this problem occurs mostly in gas chassis coaches with a long rear overhang. The pitching motion over a RR track or similar makes the hangers jump. Haven't had that issue since we moved to a DP, even though the closet is across the rear.

We have never had this problem in our Bounder.

They sell closet organiser stuff with a replacement shelf that looks like a rack with a bend along one edge that has a bunce of slots.
You pull existing rod out and replace with shelf which is new rod.
