Anybody used mobile maint for servicing your M/H
I have used a mobile maint guy who has given me good service and he has all the correct equipment on his truck to get he job done. Is this a popular way of getting your rv fixed or service. He comes to my house and does all the work and cleans up that you could''nt tell he had been there? This is a better way for me I don't have to take rv anywhere and I can watch them and learn a lot from that.
Thanks

That sounds like an ideal situation. I had a few good ones in my travels but usually had difficulty finding one who wasn't swamped . They have a short window ( Rv season ) and are overwhelmed.

Well, it seems you have answered your own question.
FWIW, I do my own PM service, but take it to an authorized service center for repairs because I don't know of any mobile service guy here.

I've only used RV Tech's for things like A/C service, or an electrical issue. Never one to do any kind of mechanical work like oil changes and the like. But would if I could find one to come to me, so I wouldn'r have to worry about the hassel of unhooking everything and taking the coach.

A mobile RV tech has to worry about his reputation in order to stay in business whereas a tech working for a dealer doesn't. The dealer techs come and go and often are inexperienced. The mobile techs have lots of experience. I will take the mobile over the dealer any time!

We have used Mobile Tech's twice in the past year and were very reasonable and knowledgeable. I would most definitely use one again. Best of luck

I checked Angie's List and the BBB for the local mobile RV Repair folks, and all of them had numerous complaints and poor customer satisfaction so I'm still taking it to a local repair shop.

I have had great results using mobile techs. They are usually my first choice.

I've used one only once with very good results. Had to wait a while as he was on an out of town call. When he pulled into the RV campground he parked his truck in the wrong driveway, using the one next to us. Turns out he was camping next door to us.
