On this coach I ''debadged" the dealer's sticker and license plate holder. I would never buy from them again, and tell others the same.

Anyone 'De Badge' their MH and why?

Here's a fellow that "rebadged" his GM bus.

BINGO! The winning answer. I don't advertize for free. I also don't wear hats that advertize. UNLESS, they give the hat to me free. You will see me wearing some good quality hats with advertizement. Yup, free hat. They put a advertizement sticker on my last PU. When I saw it I told them deal was off unless they removed it without any damage. It was removed.

I didn't like what Lazy Days tried to pull on me so I removed their badge immediately upon getting the MH home. I sure won't advertise on the road or in RV parks for them. As for the Entegra and Anthem logo, I am proud of what I drive and don't mind displaying it, but I sure won't promote the dealer, that badge is gone!

OP-I would almost bet I know the coach as my buddy who owns it was in that area not very long ago and de-badges all his coaches. He just prefers the look and for no other reason. Actually, I took off some of the badges on my 42 Tour....RVIA, Sellers badge and one other I cannot remember. As someone else here said it is just a personal thing. By the way, you must have caught him at a very unusual time as he generally is very talkative and a great guy.

No he pulls a Ford Taurus but I know he was in that area as recent as 10 days ago. Just a coincidence I guess.

I would probably debadge the dealer name if I didn't like them,(which I did) but as far as the make and model goes I wouldn't.We were very happy with our last "Fleetwood"and bought another one.

The badges and other various labeling are faded and or peeling. I contacted Thor to see about getting new ones. Their reply was they don't stock parts for a unit this old. Even though the "Thor" logo and the various informational/ warning labels are still the same on current units.

Many of us feel it's a cleaner look to take some of the badging off. I've debadged all of my trucks. On my Dakota, I took the SLT off of the tailgate and moved it to the grill in one corner. It looked good and confused people.

You can also look at some badging and know that it will discolor early on. On my new Dutch Star, I didn't care for the Newmar logo on the front and rear roof line. I decided to remove them and found the front one was already coming off at the top. It was the most difficult one I've ever removed.

I think it's even worse when people leave the white stickers on their coach showing the locations of items like, "Water Fill", "Grey Tank", etc.

I took mine off the Bounder as The ones on my previous MH got ugly after a few years. I also didn't care for the Kangaroo. I left the " Fleetwood " on both sides because it was not a decal . It turned out to be a nice conversation starter as most wondered what model it was .

We have a friend in our park that debadges the entire vehicle when he buys them. Doesn't matter if it's the car or the coach. He's never said why, just a personal thing I guess. To each ther own.

No de-badging here but very promptly remove all the dealer decals. It's better I remove their name than possibly have someone ask me about them and cause me to share some very negative reviews.

We leave most decals or "badges" on but I sure can see why you would remove them early on. Our rig had at some point a Cummins 350 badge on the rear that either fell off or was removed by a previous owner. You can still see where it was. We only know what it was after seeing one on another MH.

I guess someone who had unresolved problems with their rig might be angry enough to figure they will not advertize for them but also agree they do look slick without them.
