This looks like a cool idea to keep the bugs away. I'm thinking about getting one for the Newmar Ventana I've ordered. Any opinions?

You might want to do a "Find" on Patty or screen room. There will be a lot of hits for you.

We have one and use it do to the fact we stay in one location for longer periods of time. It does require some time to install and remove but is a nice addition to the lifestyle.

I installed one of these for a customer on a Fifth-Wheel, and i have to say I did not like it. First, you have to drill many holes in your RV for the clips to secure the screen-room, I for one would not want to drill into a brand new RV for one of these. Also, you dont gain any more living space, it just encloses your existing awning. And RV wizard said it, it is time consuming to put up, not something you would do just for a weekend.

Sorry so long winded, but it is allot of money for somehting to sit in your storage compartment and take up allot of valuable space.

Now my suggestion is to but a ez-up, and buy get one with the screen sides. They will give you all the additional space, plus they are real easy to set up. Do not buy a cheap one, you will not be happy with it, and they will not hold up.

Thanks for the info. It definitely sounds like it's not worth it for me.

I'll probably get an enclosed EZ Up and a Patty O'Shade (as someone suggested in another thread).
