Wow! That is some good information. I'm going to check mine out too. It's hard to believe that Winnebago would screw up like that. That's not just some minor inconvenience.

Interesting thread.

I just acquired a 2007 Dutch Star with what is labelled a 'Hydro-Hot' system. I found an operating manual and so did not think too much about it until I saw this thread asking about performance. And, considering that winter will soon be upon us, this prompted me to look at www.hydro-Hot.com. and was rerouted to 'AquaHot'. I compared the operating manual from my MH manual collection to the AquaHot website and saw very few, if any, differences.

So, here's my question... Are these the same systems? Should AquaHot be my source for parts, manuals, advice?

John

About 2009 Aqua-Hot (who makes the Hydro-Hot) changed the model name to Aqua-Hot model 450 to make it less confusing.

You probably have a Hydro-Hot HHE-500-09E in your coach (verify the model number by checking the data plate on the top of the unit). You will find it to be very similar to the current model AHE-450-D04.

Most manuals are online on their website, here: https://www.aquahotparts.com/eSource...edManuals.aspx

Aqua-Hot offers excellent telephone support. (303) 659-8221 x 137

Lots and lots of information on my forum. Web address below.

There are several online parts sources. Search for “RV Hydronic Heater parts”

Roger;

Thanks! I will confirm the model tomorrow and add the links, etc. to my reference files.

My complaint on my 06 Executive is noisy fans that sometimes wake me up when they cycle on an off all nite. I use an electric freestanding radiator heater to maintain the heat and only use the diesel during freezing weather. Even higher noise with the rooftop heat pump during warmer weather, really loud.
