I have searched the forum for my problem and have not found it. I have a basement unit with a coleman thermostat. When I put it on auto it does not work. It does run on "on"? Its a brand new thermostat. I don't think the compressors are coming on.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What brand & model of RV? Different manufacturers may use different make/model of basement air unit.

I pulled off my cover to my unit under the RV exposing the circuit board. It doesn't look good. I don't have the make but the model number is 6795B832. The RV is at my office. But it looks like my Circuit board is fried. I have issues with my Generator, its putting out 146 volts. It probably fried it. I am servicing my Generator tomorrow. I will have to order a new circuit board. Are there any websites where I can look up the parts I need and price them. Winnebagoparts doesn't offer that.

You can contact Winnebago customer service with your year, model and ser# of the motorhome and they can tell you the model and make of your ac. I made my inquiry via email and got an answer the next day. They can likely also tell you where to obtain the replacement parts. I had an issue with my dash ac and customer service was very helpful in identifying the manufacturer for me. it was Lichtsinn Motors that got the parts to me at the best price.

I ended up calling Winnebagoparts.com. They had my correct part at $205.00. I found a list of all the RV parts distibutors and called a couple. One in Jackson, Ms wanted $265.00 for the same part. So I kept calling. I found the part in Aberdene, MS for only $145.00 and ordered it. It will be here on Monday.

Sounds like your first effort should be to get the generator adjusted. I hope that your 146 volts is not the normal output when you have some load on it.

Yes, 146 volts fried everything, I have a new voltage regulator on the way. Its crazy that there wasn't any protection from a faulty generator installed on the RV at the factory. I am installing surge protectors everywhere, in case it happens again. I don't know what to do to protect the circuit board on the Air Condition.

I put the new low voltage circuit board in. It was a revised part and was bigger than the old one. I had to move some relays around and remount them to get the new board in. Prior to doing all of that I replaced the voltage regulator on my generator which caused my problem. It took about 15 minutes to do. I adjusted the Hertz and voltage and then spent another 20 minutes replacing the circuit board in the air condition unit. It all works great. Next step is to install a Progressive power control unit to prevent damaging anything else.
