Automatic Emergency Braking

Announced this week, coming to your towed by 2022 (that's only 5 model years away) is robot controlled braking...see this and many other articles:
NHTSA, IIHS, and 20 automakers to make auto braking standard by 2022

So, how long until RV's are required to comply?

PREVOST had it in 2011...

I have this in my 2016 Subaru Forester. I've had it 'beep' at me when collision is eminent, but never had the brakes applied. The beeps come when someone pulls out in front of me or even on a sharp curve with obstacles (mailboxes) on the outside of the curve. I believe in the system but I don't rely on it, still remain vigilant.
