In just a few days of researching a problem with my Autopark system I find that there have been many others with range of difficulties. Some problems have been seriously hazardous and it is highly possible some accidents may have been caused by a faulty system wherein the emergency brake locked up while driving at highway speeds.

Is there any legal recourse we have or are these problems so wide a varied that they can't be grouped into a single problem?

Autopark system is probably the only reason that I would not consider a new gas UFO chassis coach.

I would never buy another M/H with the Autopark brake. Had a Pace Arrow Vision on a Chev. Chassis. Autobrake locked up on the interstate @60 MPH, that was exciting, fluid had leaked out at the solenoid, which causes the brake to lock up. It must have fluid pressure to keep the springs from applying the brake. Really a dumb set up. Cost $200.00 to have someone come out and disconnect the brake and then several hundred more to fix it when we got back home. Should have left it disconnected, because I never trusted it after that. Finally traded it in on a 5th wheel. Happy now.
