I have a 02 Bounder 32 ft with a V10 ford engine. And I am confused it has a Aux start on it, I am thinking if the engine battery is dead you can start the motor off of the house batteries, this has happened a couple of times for me and I have never been able to start off of the house batteries, so what is my problem? and yes the house batteries are fully charged. Thanks for any help. wcombs34

Mine works if the house batteries shut off is on. Otherwise it won't.

It could be the relay that makes the connection isn't working. Or the dash switch is bad or disconnected somehow.

Try holding the Aux Start switch for several minutes before trying to start the engine. This allows the house to put some charge in the chassis battery.
