Anyone have a good suggestion to prevent the awning strap on manual single window awnings from vibrating in the wind? A sleeve of some kind seems appropriate but haven't been able to locate a solution.

Try a piece of armourflex (closed cell foam rubber used on pipe to keep them warm or cold) with a velcro tape or ball bungees to keep them in place.

Just a twist or two should do it. it's a trick truckers use for thier straps to keep them from vibrating loose with wind. When you hear the buzzing trucks go by, it will be a strap with no twist.

Thanks all.
I blurted out a Homer Simpson "DOH!!" after reading your suggestions. They are so obvious. No wonder I couldn't find this topic in any forums.
Diagnosis, FIQ in addition to CRS.
