Awnings Are Out and it Starts Pouring Rain

We've always used Simple Green on our awnings. Diluted bleach solution for getting off any stubborn mildew. Our current one is charcoal colored so I couldn't see mildew on it if it had any, though.

After being rolled up wet too many times they do start to carry a musty smell when unrolled. When we first purchased our old Class C we had the musty smell for about half a day after unrolling it. Either that or our noses became used to the odor, not sure which.

Can just imagine going out to grill a few steaks, under the awning when it starts to rain. What, your going to pull the awning in and stand in the rain???
