On a trip to Florida with the new MH, we got fuel at a gas station, and a couple of hours later climbing a slight grade, had the MH go to a 3,000 RPM rev limit and bucking as the rev limit took over. The MH would not exceed 3,000 RPM, and after a couple of tries, the Service Engine Soon light came on. The next day we were back to normal operation until a similar encounter with another grade and the same thing happened.
We proceeded to a rally in Orlando, and had a service tech from Golby's come to our site with a Tech ll. The scan indicated an old MAF sensor code, but no other problem. We then road tested the MH with the Tech ll and found no problems. Their thought is possible bad fuel, and we added two cans of Dry Gas.
We have since headed to lazydays with no further problems.
We wish to thank Golby Motors for their quick and very courteous assistance.

Don'nt overlook the fuel filter,under heavy load conditions a loss of power will be noticed.

Mike,this sounds like in the old days when the old tanks where under ground and you would get some water mixed with the gas. The couple cans of dry gas should take care of it.

It's not the rev limiter - your symptoms are those of a clogged fuel filter. You probably picked up a load of crap (sediment, rust and/or water) from the stations fuel tank, though I doubt if a single episode would totally clog a filter. It has probably happened to you before but the filter did its job and protetced you, but now its time to pay.

Change your fuel filter - I think on the W20 it's along the driver side frame member near the rear, but Workhorse has put it in dfferent places in different models and years. You might ask in the Workhorse Owners group here concenring your year and chassis type (W20). Somebody undoubtedly know the location and the filter part number for common aftermarket brands. Your owner manual will have a filter part number, but probably not the exact location.
