Occasionally, when I switch the ignition to ON, my gauges don't come up and nothing happens when I switch to START. I think there must be a relay somewhere activated by the ignition switch - anyone know where it might be? I don't have a wiring diagram for the coach at all - anyone have one? The switch itself appears to be OK.
tia,
Steve

Steve, even though you think your ignition switch is "OK" what you are describing is a sympton of a bad ignition switch. What kind of Chassis and engine combination does your 94 HR have - that may help in diagnosing your problem.

If the ignition switch was bad, I would expect it to be intermittent and susceptible to vibration or 'wiggling' - it's not. Once the 'relay' makes contact, it ALWAYS makes contact (at least through MANY retries). It's only the FIRST (or couple) switch activation(s) that fails. Once it makes, it stays made. Seems more like a relay to me...

94 HR - C8.3/250, Allison 3060 - 104k miles.
