Bad motor home fire

Yesterday in Omaha Ne. a motor home caught fire while the couple was moving it across town to storage. It appears the gas line in the motor compartment broke and poof. Here is a link to the video and pictures. Hopefully the wife survives.

Scary situation, hopefully she makes a fast and full recovery. Glade a Good Samaritan was there to help get her out.

That's awful! I can't help but wonder why her boyfriend got out with minor burns and left her trapped inside!

A real life reason to do routine preventative maintenance on your RVs, know and practice fire safety to include using extinguishers and escaping thru emergency hatches. My Business - Home

There was a recall for gas line separation above manifold on the older Ford engine chassis.
If you own 98-2000 chassis have it checked out.
There was a recall for a fuel clip on gas line also on newer Workhorse chassis's.

Thanks for the heads up. I know there is a website / database listing recalls, but don't remember how to access this. Do you have this information, or know anything else about the gas line "fix"?

Another good reason for a drivers door. In these type situations its good to have as many exits as you can have! sure hope she gets ok. Saw it on internet. Please let us know how she is doing.
