Thanks, MSHappyCampers. I really like this alternative! It seems to be a lot more economical and serves the same function as the Dyna Bead. I paid $220 for the Dyna Bead. I'll definitely keep this in mind!

I have thought a lot about this issue, and read plenty. Centramatics are on my wish list. The price, relative to what these rigs cost and the potential cost of unbalanced wheels (not just tires), is a favorable ratio, IMHO.

These are the ones I used. I see Wal-Mart says "out of stock" right now. Their price is $14.97. These prices on Amazon are ridiculous!

Bought my Dynabeads off e-bay for around $50.00 less than a year ago.

Crosman Airsoft Ultra Heavy Ammo, 5,000ct - Walmart.com
Joe did you just put them in the tires loose when they were being mounted?

What about the special air valves that dynabeads use?

I believe the special air valves were needed for a balancing sand.

I had some kind of tiny beeds in my tires, much smaller then a BBs but they couldn't clog a tire valve.

Yup, I just weighed out 12 oz. into plastic sandwich bags and poured them into the tires as they were being mounted! Don't leave them in the bags!

You don't need any special valves for these.

I would go to the DynaBeads site and see how many ounces you need for your size tires.
