The little fan in the bathroom vent that comes standard on most RVs.
2 of the 6 blades broke off mine. It's nothing fancy, and must be very common but I can not find a replacement fan. RV upgrades only shows a complete replacement vent with no fan for $65 and tells about another with the fan but does not give a price or even an order #.
Does any one know where I can get just the replacement blade or even the fan blade and motor?
Thanks in advance.

I've seen them at a lot of RV dealers in the supplies section. They just pull off the fan shaft, very easy to replace, no need for a new motor.

Mine exploded two weeks ago when I was standing underneath it. Scared the holy snot out of me!!!
I, too, haven't found a replacement and am thinking of putting in a Fan-Tastic fan. That little one was kinda cheesy anyhow.

If you have a Fantastic brand fan, the company will probably provide the parts at no cost to. Call them 800 521 0298, or their website fantasticvent.com . I've had excellent response from and received items in 3 days. Be sure to followup and thank them; a letter or email to any of the nationwide RV magazines on Fantastic's goodwill also helps.

Pull the old one off and mark it top/bottom. Compare it to the one you select at the RV supply store. Most have a common center but you want to make sure. But the real issue is they come in clockwise and counterclockwise blade twist. If you want to to push the air in the same direction you need to get the correct blade.

I would worry about why your fan broke off the blades...
There are two issues to consider here. Of course the first is cost. The second is air flow volume and noise. A Fan-tastic fan is great. It is quiet and moves a lot of air. The others are much noisier which some people like to mask other noise. The Fan-tastic company is very customer oriented and stand behind their products and often after the warranty has expired.

This is common problem and part. There is more than 1 type so I would recommend you remove it and take it to your local RV dealer. Here in Florida we change these out quiet often.

Remove the blades and motor and replace it with a 10 dollar 12 volt computer fan from any computer store or radio shack. Moves as much air and much quieter. FAN

George,
That's a really good idea! I don't like those OEM fans with the cheesy blades and 25 cent motor.

My MH had a similar exhaust fan in the bath. It was noisy and the plastic parts were beginning to break.
Removed it and installed a Fantastic Fan. Fits in same space, easy install and only took about one hour to do job. Now I have a fan that will move air in or out without sounding like an airplane on takeoff run. I installed a mid-priced unit, but the basic Fantastic Fan is about $100 +/-. I believe its a good investment for the long run.
