You have good battery knowledge. Anyhow it seems my bucket is full now. I now think that I may have given up on our original set of batteries to soon because the same thing happened to them. That time when the charger would not read over 13 volts, I quickly tossed the batteries for new ones. Of course they were over 4 years old.

A few days after fully charging and then applying the disconnect the batteries still show over 13 volts and 100 percent charge.

Well Georgetown. You have learned, expensive (new batteries) but you have learned....

I taught my first Battery lesson when I was 16.. To my Dad of all people.

There is a saying:
Some learn by studying or reading
Some by research
Some by example
Some have to urinate on the electric fence for themselves (Cleaned up a b it)

By the way, I do not suggest you try that last acting (I have made accidental contact with an electric fence (My hand however) and.. Well... Major .... Reflex.. Thankfuly my reflex under those conditions is to throw.

Well I'm glad I didn't have to urinate on my batteries...... checking with you guys was definitely a better option

thanks for the help
