I have a 04 Gulfstream - removed battery terminals (there are 4 6 volts) and do not know how to re-connect. The batteries are are in a block of 4 2each side by side.

scotdog;

I see this is your first post so welcome to IRV2. There are a a lot of knowledgeable people who are willing to help you. Post often. I don't have 4 - 6 volt batteries but I believe each pair of batteries are wired in series to provide 12 volts. I believe the 2 pairs are then wired parallel to double the amperage available.

Don

Scotdog, follow this link and scroll down about half way and you will see how to connect your batteries - just like Petro said.

Good luck - Glenn

Scotdog, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here. At least you have stopped and asked how to reconnect. I have seen them installed every immaginable way; backwards polarity and even shorting out one. Glad you came here to get the answer before possibly doing it incorrectly. Have a great summer and keep us posted.
