Don't know if this is the place for
what might be more of a straight up
automotive question, but then I don't
know what's causing my coach's engine batteries to flatline.
The first bat could have been down to old
age. Went to start up the Newmar one day
and there wasn't even enough juice to light
up the dashboard. Not enougoh juice to
give a jumpstart. Okay, so I bought
a brand new batt a month ago. Coach started
right up, everything's fine. Started
coach again ten days later (I know, I should
start it every week) just fine. Last time I started the coach was two weeks ago. Tried
today and battery is totally flat, unable
to take a charge, unable to jump. I do not
have an isolator switch on it. Does anyone
have a clue? Is it an automotive short or
is something in my coach battery setup sucking
the life out of it? I have a Magnum 2000 W
inverter/charger that takes care of my
four AGM coach batts, and nothing like
this has happened in 18 months of owning/living
in the coach. I'm just looking for ideas
from those of you who are better mechanics
than I am.
thanks
