Battery/Electrical

Own a 1992 Pace Arrow-Ford. Yesterday I replaced two house-car batteries (6 volts) & one 12 volt . I turned ignition key but nothing happened. I pushed aux. button and still nothing happened. I pushed gen. button and gen started. Waited for power up and tried ignition. Nothing. Pushed aux. button and heard click. While aux. pushed I was able to start engine.

I drew wiring diag. before taking wires of battery terminals. Also main power switches above door were on.

Dave the confused.

sounds like you are not getting any power from the 12 volt coach battery. Go thru and recheck all those conntections. My 99 PA has a manual disconnect in the compartment with the 12v battery that will cause the same symptoms. Also possible that the ground terminal on the other end of the neg cable, where it attaches tio the frame, broke.

Tnx JimM. I will try that in the morning. One thing I forgot to do, and you reminded me,
was clean off the connector that attaches to the terminal of the 12 volt.
