Good question, could be a faulty house battery disconnect switch, or low battery voltage that trips the disconnect switch. I'm not familiar with the set-up on Fleetwood products.

Hope you get the issue resolved, and when you do, please let us know what it was.

Best of luck, Jim

thanks for the reply jim. I called the dealer and thay told me to run the generator for awhile or plug the shore line in and let the house batteries charge since they are not charged by the alternator they are probably low

You're welcome tmats, but what your dealer told you doesn't sound correct, the engine alternator should charge both your house and chassis batteries. I would strongly suggest you give Fleetwood technical services folks a call and run your problem by them.

Good luck, Jim

When the problem of no lights occurs leave the lights on while you check your battery connections. You may wiggle a cable that prompts the lights back on.

I don't know much about an 08, buy on my 04 Southwind with a Workhorse chassis the alternator charges all three batteries when the engine is running, and the converter charges all three when on shore power or on generator. This is all controlled automatically by the battery control unit, and my FW owner's manual does a pretty good job of explaining the whole setup. If you don't have one, you can get a manual from the FW customer service website or by calling them. Maybe you have a faulty control unit.

Did you try your battery disconnect switch? Mine did the same thing and discovered I had a bad rocker switch.
