BEAVER 2000 Contessa-San Marco- Airbags

Hello,

We own a 2000 Beaver Contessa San Marco - we recently purchased it from a one time owner with low miles and it is in excellent condition. our question relates to the airbags - IS IT OK TO STORE YOUR MOTORHOME WITH THE AIRBAGS INFLATED? IS IT NORMAL FOR THEM TO BLEED OFF a little IF THEY'VE SAT FOR 5 - 6 DAYS? Thanks for any information you can provide.

Yes & Yes. Support the coach on its hydraulic jacks if it has them, to provide support when the air bleeds off. Coaches with air leveling will have an auxiliary pump to replace the air loss.

Air bleed down may take anywhere from hours to days, depending on how many leaks there are in the chassis air system. They all develop leaks over time and need some extra attention, or you can just live with it. It doesn't hurt anything as long as the leaks aren't severe enough to tax the engine air compressor .

I'm one of those with air-leveling, so mine sits with air in the bags it's whole life. Mine will sit for months without any noticeable air loss in the bags.
