So on our 2005 Fleetwood Expedition, DH has mh plugged in to shore power and has the engine batteries on a trickle charge. No matter what we read in our books, he just can't quite understand the battery situation. I am no help because I also don't understand the inverter and battery system. Anyone know of a good website that explains everything? I feel like we still don't have it right. If we are plugged into shore power, we also need to keep the house batteries turned on? Should we have a trickle charge on any of the batteries. We seem to now have everything g else figured out except the batteries. Thanks.

I have the same year and model. I leave inverter, chassis battery and house batteries on always. The inverter keeps them charged while plugged into a pedestal...or when running the generator...

Bedroom slide

We have a 2013 Winnebago Sightseer Model 35G and the rear bedroom slide will not move. It is currently retracted and will not go out. We have checked everything to include the usual: fuses, parking brake on, engine running, power to switch on wall, etc. We even reset the slide power control under the bed with no result. The lights on the control did flash after the 7th push on the reset button but they go out and no change. There appears to be no power to the air mattress either. Open for other suggestions.

Is the switch in the one-place panel? Mine is. When the same thing happened to me, I found the connector had been pulled off the back by the weight of the bundle of wires. I had to pull the panel to get to it.

On our 2005 Fleetwood Expedition 37U. We thought we had our slideout issue fixed. However yesterday we were packing up to leave campsite and bedroom slide out would not retract. Checked all wiring under the bed and in the compartment under the bedroom. Husband just kept waiting between attempts and continued pushing the in/out button, finally got it in. Got home after 3 hour drive, again slide would not go out. Kept pushing in/out button and after numerous tries, slide came in. All batteries were fully charged and engine was running as is required by out instruction manual. Wondering if a module or controller is going bad? Which one? Should we just replace both?

Could just be a bad / intermittent switch. Over time the contacts inside the switch could be corroded or burnt. I say this because you stated DH kept pushing the switch on 2 separate occasions and got it to work. Start with the easy stuff before the expensive stuff. Don't ask me how I know. 😜

My bedroom switch is located on the wall with the other slide switches as I have three slideouts. It is a toggle awitch not a push button. Not sure how to remove the swith as it is not part of a larger panel.

Still having issues with bedroom slide on our 2005 Fleetwood Expedition 37U. Fleetwood suggested we switch the slide controller plugs, both slides worked. Switched them back to original positions and only front worked. Reversed them again and now both are working. Any ideas?
