I have a Damon Challenger 371
Our bedroom slide is a power gear system that uses a 12 volt motor to move the slide.

They also have cables that keep the left and right side straight. This is my problem.
The right side has coupling 1/4-20 that came off. I can not get the cable to stretch and am about 1 inch short. Tried numerous attempts but due to the akward position, can not get tension on it.

Anyone know what the trick is? I am at Myrtle Beach and can put it in my pushing on that side and make it home and then deal with it, but would be nice to fix it know. They do have a nice decal explaining how to adjust tension. The motor and cable adjustments are in a panel above the bed so your head is against the ceiling and you are standing half on the bed.

Try Power Gear Tech Service at 800-334-4712 and see if they can advise you. I've never talked to them, but hear they are helpful.

POwer Gear also has some manuals online at Power Gear Manuals but I didn't see one that sounds like your system.

Thanks Gary but Power Gear told me to look at manual as he did not know the answer himself. The manual does not show the cables, I suspect it is what is known as a trade secret and is why the technicans earn their money.
