In our new 2007 Voyage we are unable to get around the bed or use bedroom drawers with the slideout in. Is it possible for an overnight to extend the slideout just out enough to get around or does it need to be completly out?

buildergirl,a belated welcome to irv2
I have moved my slide out about 1/2 way to get around and into closets while parked in rest area. Wouldn't leave it out and find parking where the side with bedroom wouldn't have a parking space next to it. My control I can stop the slide motion as it is operating out not sure you can do same thing. If you can find the parking space with no parking space next to you should be ok. If you left out over night you may get a knock on door in middle of night.

Sounds like a 33V -- you can stop the slide where ever you want, release the switch, and later, retract ---

The only way the slideout will be water tight is all the way out or all the way in.

HWH says it is best to operate the slide all the way and hold the switch for 3 seconds after it is all the way in or out. If we need to get in a draw we extend the slide all the way.

It might not cause any problem by extending it 1/2 way, but why take the chance?

In addition to what has already been submitted. I have partial extended the bedroom slide AFTER ensuring the coach is basically level.
