Best jack-knife sofa bed?

We have a wonderful 2013 Born Free 26' Mobility, custom designed to accommodate my husband's wheelchair requirements. Unfortunately, as his physical condition has declined, the jack-knife sofa bed he sleeps on is no longer acceptably comfortable, even with a 3" stiff foam pad on top of it. The issue is that it is not really level, which makes it difficult for him to turn during the night.

The space available is not sufficient for a pull-out sofa bed with an air mattress, so we are looking for other jack-knife options.

Current bed is a 76" Flexsteel Easy Bed Easy Bed | Flexsteel.com but with cushions that look more like this
Easy Bed | Flexsteel.com.

We have a wooden front panel, which allows access into the under-sofa storage from inside the coach, rather than the "sofa look" panel as shown.

Here are options we're considering:
1) Have someone re-upholster the existing sofa with stiffer, flatter cushions. Any idea what that would cost or how to find someone? Any experiences (good, bad, ugly)?

2) Born Free has switched from Flexsteel to Villa International for sofa beds. Villa International Products Their website doesn't have much information - does anyone have a jack-knife from them and if so, how flat is it when in bed mode?

3) I found Monaco Sofa Bed through Google. Has anyone bought from Shop4Seats? Good, bad, or ugly?

Any other ideas are most welcome!!!

I believe the Flexsteel Magic Bed which folds out to form a bed. (rather than "jack knifing"), is what you are looking for.
The Magic bed in a friends '93 Holiday Rambler is very comfortable... both as a couch and as a bed.

Thanks Mel and macantic. Unfortunately, we do not have space for a pullout bed - we have only about 52" from the wall available due to the layout.

If I remember correctly the Flexsteel Magic Bed does not "pull out" like a sleeper sofa... nor does it "jackknife" into a bed.
I believe as a couch the Magic Bed has 2 narrow mattresses.
To convert from a couch to a bed you remove the back rests and fold the top mattress out next to the bottom mattress...... (as in this pic):
