List your location (City, State) so others in that area can chime in on their experiences with finding tires. Before buying I checked local semi repair shops, truck tire shops, OTR service centers (like Flying J etc etc) and local mobile truck tire repair companies.

I ended up buying from R & S Tire here in Columbus, Ohio. They are a smaller company but have 5 mobile repair trucks and a shop for drive-in repairs. They had the 4-22.5" Bridgestones I needed for $300.00 less (mounted and balanced) than anyone else I could find locally. On average I think you'll find local OTR tire shops to have lower pricing than larger companies since they have lower overhead in most cases.

Wow, $300.00 less mounting and balancing is for 22.5 tires the best price I have seen. I just bought a 235/80/22.5 from Sam's for a spare at $345.00 with tax. No mounting or balancing. Best price other then Sam's was $460.00 plus balancing and mounting from a truck shop.

mikron, you misunderstood... heh.. they were $300.00 less for all 4 tires than other places around here... so total savings over other places was about $75.00 per tire.

fsdave, I did all 4 rears. 4-Bridgestone R250s 235 x 80 R22.5's, removed all 4, mounted, balanced and included balancing beads, new valve stems, new plastic spacers between the aluminum outer and steel inner wheels, tax, labor everything $375.00/tire. I even checked the date codes and the tires were all within 5 months of being manufactured.

Often at a large RV rally major vendors will have tires at discount. This past summer I purchased six 670's from Good Year at the Redmond Oregon rally. I had priced both Michelin's and Goodyears prior to attending the rally. Goodyear's were about $70 per tire less than I had priced out at local tire shops. Michelin's were not discounted.

fxdave...
You need to price your size & load range of tire, not someone else's. There can be a tremendous difference in price for a tire that is common vs special use, and also a tremendous difference among shops. Comparisons are meaningless except for the same size and load range tire.

So, what size tires does your Endeavor have?

Toyo makes excellent tires but they don't pursue the motorhome market, so you don't hear much about them. Sounds like a good price.

There are a number of threads related to Toyo tire on iRV2. If you type Toyo in the search box they will all come up. Hope this helps.
