Best practice toilet procedure
What method is best for highest toilet efficacy?
After filling the bowl with water should the paper be oriented sideways, i.e. east and west in relation to the coach or should it be long ways, i.e. north and south?

It's a toilet.

Just make sure the paper is in the water. Bob likes dirty side down, that's good with me, just get it in the water before you flush. Dirty side down on the side of the bowl isn't good. North, south, east or west, with or without diamond pattern is just personal preference. What ever design you like seeing going down.

We use Scott TP and Tucks. I refuse to use RV tp because I really don’t want to get in touch with my inner self. The Tucks can’t go into the tank so we take dog poop bags in and dispose of paper and Tucks in the bag. Then put the bags in the trash.

Me thinks someone has a bet on how many people will answer a ridiculous question.

Best practice toilet procedure
There is always the scientific method. I think 1000-2000 flushes with each pattern should suffice to provide a statistically significant answer. Of course you would have to measure the amount of water used on each flush, to insure uniformity. That would make an interesting winter publication.
