Best road side assistance provider?

I want to get road side assistance in case my DP MH ever gets a flat tire. Which company would you recommend and how much does it cost you? Good Sam? AAA?

I have belong to several over the years but only used RV plus AAA once. Other than a tad slow, it was a Sunday. It did work well and had the coach towed about 90 miles to my home.

cannot comment on the other plans or companies
but we have coachnet now for 6 years
we have used them twice and were 100% overwhelmingly pleased with the outcome

Hi TimSullivan,
All these companies call the same companies to come to where you are and provide service. Read the agreement and determine who provides the services you want.

As GaryKD said, they all use essentially the same service providers nationwide. I have been with Coach Net since 2007. I first used them for on site help with an HWH Jack and Slide Out problem. Got the coach reconfigured to travel and I went to HWH at Moscow, IA for repairs. The third time I called them, they arranged for a tow and serpentine belt replacement in Kentucky. No complaints either time with their help or arrangements. The second time I used them, their Technician talked me through an electrical problem over the phone - no outside dispatch needed.

Sorry, did not see the pricing Question. In my area RV plus with midAtlantic AAA cost around $200. For cars and RV.

We have AAA Plus and looked into the AAA RV coverage and for a MH it is for the most part worthless. There was several disclaimers in the policy that they might not have coverage in some areas for towing, some areas might not be able to provide tire service, etc. Sounded like there was a high chance of not being able to get service for MH issues in a number of areas in the U.S.

For RVs "the best" AND "the best price" would have to be Good Sam or Coach Net. My money (& membership) for the past 12 years has been with Winnebago Premium Roadside Assistance provided by Coach Net. They have provided great telephone tech support, and have found a mobile tech to get us fixed on a few occasions.

I have used AAA, Good Sam, and CoachNet. Currently on the latter. Experience with GS and CN are similar, but CoachNet seems to do a better job with telephone tech support. You will find some people who have had bad experiences with each, but many many more who have had satisfactory dealings. Either GS or CN is much better than trying to wing it on your own in strange territory.

Best road side assistance provider?

Have used both coach-net and good Sam. Both good experiences.

I've found Good Sam ERS to be as "useful" as Camping World RV service...
(if you like CW service ...you'll love Good Sam).
'Nuff said??

I have CoachNet.
