Bike rack not what it should be

We purchased swagman RV 3 bike rack. With one bike it’s steady as a rock. We tried to load the second bike of 3 both ladies with swagman adaptor and no way it fits in the slot. Emailed Swagman who replied:

“Unfortunately it looks like you won't be able to. We try to fit as many bikes as we can, but there are several frame designs and handlebar widths that inhibit the # of types of bikes that can be mounted on the rack.
Please be aware that you need to have 15" of clearance between the bikes and the ground to ensure that you don't have any contact with ground.”

We researched this, asked many questions and now out 300$

I just bought the 4 bike rack and it worked well. Woman’s bikes and step through bikes can be challenging. I was able to maneuver the straps to make my kids bikes fit without issues. On one bike I put the frame on one bar and then strapped the other post to the front and ran the straps around the outside handle bar post. It held very well. Can you take a picture of the issues maybe someone can he,p you figure out a way.
