Hello all,

New to the DP MH and was power washing the underside of the new to me '98 Dutch Star 3865. I noticed the front shocks (Bilstien) and they had grease running down them. I know on my F350 diesel I upgraded to Bilstien and they are a great shock. I was wondering is the life time warrenty only for the original owner? Also what should I expect to pay for them, I'm fairly handy and could probably install them myself. Web sites for part # and cost would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Rick

You might also want to consider Koni shocks. I am satisfied with my Bilsteins, but might consider Konis when it's time for replacement. The guys over at the Workhorse Forum are raving about the Konis. You would have to check to see if they make them for your DP coach.

Thanks Guys,

I just went to shox.com and filled out an estimate form for Bilsteins and Konis. I found some on Ebay but they have 12ton-14ton and 14 ton - 16ton package deals for about 350.00 including free shipping. I just don't know the part # I would need. I'll try and crawl under the coach this week and see if I can find it on the shock.
Thans again, Rick
