As previously noted, I installed a screen washer on the discharge end of the filter and did discover black specks. The filter was about four months old so I thought I was good to go especially when I test the water and it tests real good. I changed the filter and no more specks. I drained to fresh water supply tank but I think it will tak a couple more flushes before the specks are out of it. Thanks for the input.
