Black tank flush not working

When I go to rinse the black tank I attach the hose to the inlet but water will not go into the black tank to flush it out. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?

There could be a number of things that can prevent the tank flush water from flowing. One of the more common problems is that the flush nozzle gets plugged up. In that case you remove it and clean it out. Some people, including me, drill the holes out a bit bigger. Sometimes the anti-back flow valve can cause problems. In my case, I found the hose kinked right behind the hose inlet fitting where the plastic line had to make a sharp 90 degree turn. I replaced the portion of the line with a 90 degree PVC elbow.

The standard problem for the black tank flush not working on a Monaco/HR product is that in letting the tank fill and set for a while toilet paper gets into the holes in the sprayer and then when you drain the tank and let it set it drys out and will not let the sprayer work. The fix for this is to open the compartment to access the sprayer. Remove the sprayer from the top of the black tank (if I remember right two screws) take the spray nozzle off clean it and them drill the spray holes out slightly larger than factory. Since I did this the first year after purchasing our coach I have not had any more problems with the spray nozzles.

The nozzle on my flusher clogged up completely! I just removed it from the tank and cleaned it. I discovered that I did not have a screen washer in the inlet!
