Blowing Out The Windshield
Some friends just bought their first motorhome and during the walk through were told by the tech to be sure the entry door is open when they bring the slides in otherwise it could blow out the windshield.
Comments?

That would be a fast moving slide.
Impossible to build that much internal pressure. It would blow the roof vents off first.

So far the responses are much more reserved and polite than that I gave my friends. I'd repeat it but the moderators would kick me off.
What's sad is our friends are trusting and believed the guy. Makes you wonder how many other newbies have been mislead by total nonsense.
Thanks,
Keith

Blowing Out The Windshield
What? Didn't you all know to do that?..... My coach is so tight that when I pass gas the front door and/or the windows open..... (or the roof vents even blow off)....

Tell your friends if that happens, simply hold the windshield back up and put the slides back out and the air pressure will suck the windshield back into place.
Then tell them to smack that tech in the back of the head. . .

Tell your friend to always open the door before flushing the toilet or it might suck the windshield in.

That brings stupidity (and my confidence in dealers in general), to a whole new level.
