I live in middle Ga.. Nearest dealer is 75 miles...I have 2005 American Tradition with serious window fogging problems...Six windows fogged!!
I went on line and found Duncan systems out of Elkard In and Lakeland Fl...450 miles. Apear to be very expensive..
.
Also found Suncoast Designs out of Hudson Fl. 500 miles from me.
Has anyone used either of these companies and if so what was your experience with them? Expensive? Quality of work? etc. Also does wnyone have any other resources they can reccomend?
Thanks for your help!!!

I have had window repairs due to fogging done at Suncoast Designers in Hudson on two separate occasions (different windows). I found them to be very professional, courteous and reasonably priced. They also have excellent equipment as they also manufacture residential and commercial dual pane windows.
They have 50 amp hook ups available for your use while repairs are being made or then night before. Great people to work with.

Did you check with Mid State RV in Byron, GA? It would be much closer for you and they have done excellent work for me. I would also check with local glass shops in your area and see if they can do the work.

You also have RV FOG DR in Searcy, Arkansas ( www.rvfogdr.com). I had a window done by them and I have never had such good service. I waited until I was on a trip that went by them and then called for an appointment and plugged in and stayed the night there (free). They managed to use the original glass because it cleaned up OK inside. This saves time and money. Most glass will clean up unless the fogging in real bad and has been there a long time. While I was there they had another MH with all the windows fooged like yours. I sat there and watched them take each window out take it apart in a clean room, clean it, reseal it, and put it back in. They were amazing. Call them up and tell them how many windows you want done and assume they will be able to use the same glass over again and see how the pricing is.

Another recommendation for Suncoast Designers in Hudson, Florida. Very professional and very careful removing and replacing windows. Had three windows repaired for the cost of buying one new one from dealer. If any more of my windows fog up due to seal breakage, I will be going back to Suncoast Designers. They give you a prorated 5 year warranty.

Suncoast x 3. Expect about $200/window unit. You will definitely need reservations during snowbird season.

Suncoast x 4. Used them 2 years ago. They were great to work with.

I have been doing my own windows since 1965 when we installed double glass windows in our 1947 Flxible Bus motorhome conversion. I take the window out, cut it apart and clean each glass spotless. The local glass shop that I've used for over 30 years, charged me $40 to reseal the bedroom sliding window that I did in November. The secret is to do the window as soon as you first notice the moisture.
