Ok, I'm in deep trouble. Today I was in the coach and decided to fiddle around with this and that. The bedroom shade was in the dark mode so I decided to let more light in. Somehow I forced it and a string broke and it's all messed up. Is there a way to restring it or do I need to send it somewhere to be fixed.
Any help before my DW finds out would be appreciated and she's always telling me to leave stuff alone.
My bad!
Thx - Bugs

You are not alone. We've had many posts on this issue.
In addition to replies here you may want to search on "day night shades" for more info.

Get supplies, kits and instructions from Fix My Blinds or The Dirty Blind Man.

take her out to nice place to eat and inform her on how "bad" you were, try to explain to her that you will repair, replace, "her "shade, just be sure there are plenty of people around so you have some type of a witness, maybe she will forgive you for touching the shade in the first place. lol (thought I post a little humour, or try too)

Fix it yourself. With a little internet search you will get it down so you can do it on the road if needed (and you will need it). Once one goes it seems they tend to break in twos and threes.
