You should not smell anything foreign inside your coach during regen. There is not a set time for regen. The Cummins folks stated, in town driving with result in increased regeneration. I would take the coach into a Cummins Care shop. Peace of mind means a good nights sleep!

Wonder could it be anything other that a rubber smell from the exhaust brake. Like service brakes? The only smell we have ever had inside the coach is brakes, and of course the occasional sewer smell when the bathroom vent is left open

No light came on again. The light tells you that a regen is happening, so I guess it won't come on again for a while.

The guy was actually a Freightliner mechanic. It will be a little while before we return home (couple of weeks) but I don't anticipate a regen happening again before then. At that point I will take it in to a Freightliner shop to have it looked at.
