I have been having a busy week upgrading my class A. Installed LED instruments warning lights trickle charger from house battery to frame battery. And installed water expansion tank. Click image for larger version

I am thinking he might of meant "accumulator" not expansion tank?

This is a small one Joe Water Pump Accumulator Tank - PPL Motor Homes made for RV's.......
It is a tank that you see in his picture above that reduces the pump from cycling every time you turn water on. Just like the bladder tank in a house with a water well, only smaller.
Here is a short thread on this Joe http://www.irv2.com/forums/f54/press...nks-50989.html

I believe that is it wrapped in carpet and strapped to the wood bulkhead in the top left photo?

Yes it is wrapped in the carpet to protect the lines under it.

Last pump I installed was a variable speed. Works really well. Instructions said not to be used with expansion tank.

Thank you Gorden for the heads up
Now if I just can remember it
How do you like the variable speed pump vs the stock "pressure" pump?
Is it quiter than the stock pump?

It is quieter than the one I replaced. The capacity is larger so we get reasonable pressure when more than one tap is open.
